Spring is coming and I can't quit focusing on my least favourite body parts. Help?!

As women we are so hard on ourselves. It doesn't matter what size or shape we are, we focus on the parts we don't like. I've worked with ladies who are size 4 and don't like their back fat. So, it really comes down to our attitude and thankfulness - and DRESSING FOR THE BODY WE HAVE - instead of the one we wish we had - that is in magazines - that is an unreal expectation! Of course, we sometimes need help dressing to accentuate our positives - which we ALL have! Also, there are camouflage tricks that can be used, which a good style consultant can help you with. This Spring, let's be thankful that our arms and legs work and give out compliments. It can really brighten someone's day!

"I would like a pair of the new wide leg pants but I'm 5' 4" - how do I pick the right ones?" This question is a perfect example of why bricks and mortar stores will never disappear - you have to try them on! Proportion is always a key in choosing fashion - and how can you tell YOUR proportions from looking at a 5' 10" model with very long legs?? First, decide if you want to go casual or more dressy - and that will help determine your footwear. Heavier fabrics need a substantial sandal or sneaker to "ground" the look. Next, length is important because you don't want a crop pant to end at the widest part of your leg. The width is variable - often dependant on your height. Take time to try on different pants and tops and get help to find the perfect look for you!
